JV THE NEXT COUPLE YEARS AND VARSITY IF ALL GOES WELL AFTER THAT.”we know we have a lot of kids that will benefit from football that aren’t participating in an activity in the fall.”Youth football was started six years ago in town and some last falls middle school group will be getting to the high school in the fall.Ken Frederick coached that team last year. Its amazing how many people we had last year supporting last year and we almost doubled it this year. There are a lot of people coming out of the woodwork saying we want a football team. The school will not incur the cost of the sport right now. The town council has put up 20 thousand dollars to help offset the startup cost.”Yes its good news for football excited about it at the same time we’re sensitive to the fact adding a new program during this economic climate is difficult to do.”ATHLETIC DIRECTOR PAUL SOUCY IS GRATEFUL FOR ALL THE HELP THE FOOTBALL BOOSTERS HAVE GIVEN. THE NEXT STOP IS TO HIRE A COACH AND PUT TOGETHER A JV SCHEDULE FOR THIS FALL.
