Reward Offered in Dog Shooting Deaths 

The Humane Society of the United States is offering a reward up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for the deadly shooting of three dogs in Searsport last year.In December, police found two great danes shot to death. They were found lying on a piece of plastic. Last September, the Searsport animal control officer found a rottweiler shot dead. The three dogs lived within one mile of each other on the Nickels Road.The Searsport police department continues to investigate. If you have any information about the case, call 548-2304 or 323-1490.
