Shortly thereafter FairPoint was bombarded with complaints from customers having trouble with the transition.
More than 13,000 people called in a three-day period.
A spokesperson for the company tells TV 5 they are getting toward the end of the e-mail issues. And only some customers with dial-up service may be having internet problems.
