Wear Red For Your Heart

&quot:It&quot: is heart disease.

Friday is national wear red day to raise awareness about the problem.

On Thursday members of the school’s wellness program invited folks from the American Heart Association to offer a program on campus.

Heart disease can strike at any age, but risk factors increase as women get older.

&quot:You’re never too young to take steps to prevent heart disease.&quot: Said University Employee Wellness Manager Taylor Bloeden. &quot:As well, some of them have parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles who are affected and the more they know now, the more they can help their loved ones and themselves to be healthy as well.&quot:

During thursday’s program an inspirational film about heart disease survivors was shown.
