64-year-old Maurice Subilia junior of Kennebunkport admitted to the crimes on Monday in U.S. district court in Portland.
He was part of a conspiracy involving two officials at the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Huntsville, Alabama.
According to court documents, Subilia paid the employees bribes in exchange for having inflated government contracts steered his way. He then wired much of the money overseas.
A sentencing date has not been scheduled.
