Oil Delivery Resumes

Citgo president Alejandro Granado says the Houston-based company is &quot:making a huge effort&quot: to maintain donations despite falling oil prices and the world economic crisis.

On Thursday, Citgo delivered free fuel to a shelter in Washington D.C.

The initiative, a partnership with the Boston-based nonprofit Citizens Energy Corp., says it provided more 200,000 households in Maine and 22 other states with free oil last winter.

Citizens chairman Joseph Kennedy said Jan. 5 that shipments had been suspended, but five days later, President Hugo Chavez said the donations would continue.
