Oil Spill Forces Road Closure 

Maine environmental officials are at the scene of an heating oil truck accident that caused a spill in the town of Plymouth. Authorities will clear the spill and reopen the road later Tuesday.

Authorities say the accident happened at around 9 a.m., and the department of Environmental Protection is on the scene to oversee the cleanup.

The condition of the truck’s driver wasn’t immediately known.

Plymouth is a few miles southeast of the town of Newport.
