The ":Days of Warmth": fuel fund has been established by Saint James Episcopal Church and Crossroads Ministries food pantry.
Their goal is for neighbors to help neighbors survive the cold in a unique way.
They’re distributing pledge sheets, and folks can donate hours of warmth…
Crossroads Ministries Director Brenda Davis says, ":for justa dollar and a quarter and somebody can help keep a family warm for an hour. 24 people at 1.25 heat a family for a day.":
Donations can be dropped off at Crossroads Ministries at 2 Wood Street in Old Town…or at Saint James Episcopal Church at Center and Main Streets, also in Old Town.
