Amber Cummings was questioned at length on Tuesday, and was subsequently released. At this point she has not been charged with any crime.
":We’ve done a number of interviews.": Police spokesperson Steve McCausland told TV5 on Wednesday. ":We have interviewed the woman involved, Mrs. Cummings. She has been cooperative. She was released on Tuesday night, and at this point, what we’re trying to do, is determine exactly what went on inside that house.":
State police say Belfast Police have recovered the weapon.
The state medical examiner’s office autopsied James Cumming’s body Wednesday afternoon.
McCausland says the information from the report, along with the couple’s history and statements from neighbors and family, will help authorities sort out those details.
