A meeting was held in Waterville Tuesday night to discuss school reorganization plans.
During the meeting, city councilors voted to set the date of January 13th to hold a special referendum.
If voters approve the current plan, the three school systems would divide transportation, special education, and other costs, but continue to have separate identities.
Public hearings on the plan will be held in the three cities prior to voting.
Waterville’s will take place on Tuesday, December 9th. Vassalboro is scheduled for Tuesday, December 16th, and Winslow will hold a public session on Tuesday, January 6th.
