The fire was reported at 4:30 Tuesday morning. Crews from five towns were called in to battle the blaze, at 1463 Pushaw Rd, near Lucky’s Landing.
Five people lived in the house. Glenburn fire captain David Braley says everyone made it out safely, but the grandfather was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
":The second floor of the house has a substantial amount of smoke, water damage.": Captain Braley told TV5. ":Left rear of the house is completely gone right through the roof.":
Fire investigators headed to the scene to try and determine a cause. The Red Cross was called in to assist the family.
Pushaw Road was back open to traffic around 7 o’clock Tuesday morning.
