First Wind of Massachusetts is seeking state Department of Environmental Protection and local approval for the 40-unit Rollins Mountain project, which would be built along ridge lines in Lincoln, Lee, Winn, Burlington and Mattawamkeag.
First Wind, which also works under the subsidiary name of Evergreen Wind, is also seeking state Land Use Regulatory Commission approval for the Stetson II project. Its 17 windmills would expand the 38-turbine Stetson Mountain project, which is nearing completion.
