Prescription Drug Scheme Conviction

Authorities say Christine Hesseltine worked for a Bangor doctors office for two years.

During that time, she wrote a number of bogus prescriptions so that others could pick up drugs at local pharmacies.

Hesseltine was sentenced today to spend one year of a four year sentence behind bars.

She’ll also be on probation for a year following her release, and will have to pay $1600 in restitution.
