Muddy Rudder’s Apple Cobbler



22 oz. white cake flour

12 oz. quick oats

8 oz. brown sugar

2 tablespoons cinnamon

8 oz. melted butter

2 cups water


1 tablespoon cinnamon

cup honey

1 tablespoon nutmeg

1 teaspoon cloves

6 lbs. apples, sliced

1 cups all-purpose flour

12 oz. brown sugar


Mix all ingredients together for the topping and set aside.

Mix all ingredients for the filling. Place in a greased pan and bake for about 5 minutes at 350. Remove from oven and add topping. Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes more until golden brown.

Let cool slightly. Serve and top with vanilla ice cream.
