I-95 Truck Accident 

Somehow the the driver, 59-year-old Richarad Laroche of Vermont, escaped with only a bruised arm. The crash happened just before 1:00 p.m. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

Northbound traffic was rerouted for several hours to Rt. 100 through Clinton, where motorists could re-enter the interstate. The truck was hauling 18 tons of cattle feed to Exeter when the rig began to have mechanical problems. Some of the grain the truck was carrying spilled into the river, along with a couple of gallons of oil from the truck. The Department of Environmental Protection and local fire officials were called in to access and manage that damage.
