In July, a fire started near a rock climbing wall at Katahdin Pride Park. It quickly spread to other playground equipment.
A 14-year-old boy was arrested for setting the fire.
Since then, community officials have worked to sort out insurance issues and get the playground back.
Crews have been hard at work there for the past three days, getting everything ready for the reopening next Tuesday.
A grand reopening party will take place at 1pm, with treats for children, and plenty of brand-new equipment for them to play on.
