An Augusta man charged with aggravated attempted murder was in court again Wednesday.
21-year old Daniel Fortune is accused of breaking into the Guerrette home in Pittston last May…and stabbing 48-year old William Guerrette and his 10-year old daughter, Nicole.
Wednesday, Fortune was in Kennebec County Superior Court on a charge stemming from a theft at the Guerrette home in November of last year…the case was continued….
According to court documents, Fortune attended a party that Guerrette’s son threw while his parents were away.
During that party, a safe containing more than 100-thousand dollars in cash and other valuables was taken.
Fortune has not entered a plea…he remains in jail on one million dollars bail.
