They may never know because there’s nothing left of the home that burned down.
Fire crews were called to the home on Kimball Hill Road off Route 7 just after seven o’clock Tuesday morning.
A neighbor spotted flames coming from the house. By the time fire crews arrived, there was nothing they could do.
The home is owned by Monte Dunphy, who lives there with his two sons. No one was home when the fire broke out.
Fire crews from Brooks and Thorndike also helped battle the blaze.
