CREWS RESPONDED TO THE SCENE ON UPPER COLD STREAM POND, IN AN AREA KNOWN AS THE NARROWS.

WHEN THEY ARRIVED AT THE MACGREGOR ROAD, THEY FOUND A CAMP ENGULFED IN FLAMES.

56-YEAR OLD LINDA SMITH AND 51-YEAR OLD RICK PEDLEY WERE IN THE WATER.

THEY HAD JUMPED IN TO ESCAPE THE FIRE.

THE COUPLE WAS FLOWN TO A HOSPITAL IN BOSTON WHERE THEY’RE BEING TREATED FOR SEVERE BURNS TO MORE THAN HALF OF THEIR BODIES.
