The state called four witnesses to the stand, including Murdoch’s sister, as well as an ex-boyfriend.
Shannon Atwood had been charged with killing Shirley Moon Atwood, Shannon Atwood’s estranged wife hasn’t been seen since march of 2006, but those charges were dropped.
Justice Mills has ruled that the defense can introduce the theory that Moon Atwood killed Murdoch, but they have not presented that theory yet.
Atwood’s trial is expected to wrap up by the end of the week.
