F.E.M.A. workers, along with representatives from the Small Business Administration, and the Maine Emergency Management Agency were in Milford Tuesday.
They’re providing information about relief programs and funding.
The experts point out that it’s important for flood victims to know that they need to register for federal aid, and that calling 211 does not automatically qualify a caller for funding.
Anyone who had flood damage from the April 28th storm can apply for federal assistance by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (1-800-621-3362). Or, you can also go on-line at www.fema.gov.
The mobile center moves to East Millinocket on Wednesday, and then heads back to Milford again next week.
