Justice Nancy Mills has been appointed. The case will begin on June 3rd.
Atwood is accused of killing his girlfriend Cheryl Murdoch in the summer of 2006. Atwood was also initially charged with the murder of his estranged wife, Shirley Moon-Atwood, but that charge was dropped in November.
