Saturday commencement day at University of Maine System campuses around the state. Speakers at the two biggest campuses were innovation guru Doug Hall and former Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial writer Roger Wilkins.
Speaking at his alma mater in Orono, Hall encouraged University of Maine grads to do a better job than the baby boom generation in leading American society to a brighter future.
Hall, who helps businesses and individuals develop ideas and pathways to growth, urged the Class of 2008 to lead a revolution against what he called ":the conformity of baby boomer thinking.":
