Ban Upheld

Mark Haskell received a summons from a warden three summers ago for riding a Sea-Doo on the lake.

He objected to the state’s ban on personal watercraft on the lake and took his case to court.

Superior Court justice Donald Marden sided with Haskell saying the law was &quot:unduly arbitrary.&quot:

In a unanimous decision Thursday however, the Maine Supreme Judicial Court reversed the lower court’s decision.
