Acadia Closes Several Trails

Updated 7 years ago

ACADIA NATIONAL PARK IS A FAVORITE PLACE TO VISIT AS THE WEATHER GETS WARMER.

BUT SOME OF THE MOST POPULAR TRAILS WILL BE CLOSED FOR MONTHS, IN ORDER TO HELP OUT SOME PEREGRINE FALCONS.

THE BIRDS NEED TIME TO THEMSELVES RIGHT NOW, AS THEY PREPARE TO NEST.

BRUCE CONNERY OF ACADIA NATIONAL PARK SAYS THE PRECIPICE WALL, VALLEY COVE WALL, JORDAN CLIFF, AND BEECH CLIFF TRAILS ARE CLOSED.

THEY WON’T RE-OPEN UNTIL AUGUST 16TH.
