Cat Survives Sullivan Fire

Jamie and Daniel Tracey’s home was destroyed by fire on April 5th.

Jamie barely escaped but managed to rescue two dogs.

Everyone thought all the other animals inside had died.

8 days after the fire neighbor and Veternarian Jenny Rees found dot dot under her porch.

Jenny says it’s a miracle he survived the flames and going 8 days without food, water, or medical care.

Dot Dot will probably lose most of his ears. his pads are badly burned and he will have scars around his eyes.

The vet says he should make a full recovery but it will cost between $800 and a thousand dollars for his care.

Anyone who would like to help can send donations designated Fire Cat to the Schoodic Animal Hospital at 2345 U.S. Highway one in Sullivan 04664.
