Storm Cleanup Underway

Parts of Maine are cleaning up from a foot of snow, while heavy rain washed away snow and ice from roads in other parts of the state.

Leann Allegretto from the National Weather Service in Caribou says parts of northern Aroostook County were getting socked with snow while the bulk of the state was getting rain Saturday.

She says Fort Kent ended up with 13 inches of snow, while Robbinston on the coast got 3 inches of rain.

Other parts of Maine saw up to a half-inch of ice buildup from freezing rain.
