A judge sentenced 23-year-old Michael Ely to two years behind bars for breaking into the post office in Etna in 2006.
Ely is scheduled to go to court again this week for the home invasion case.
That crime took place only a few days after the postal burglary.
Ely admitted to stealing more than 600-dollars worth of money orders and checks from the post office.
As part of his sentence in that case, he has to serve three years of supervised release, and pay back the money he stole.
