Police say speed was a factor in a crash that killed three people near the New Hampshire-Maine border.
The crash happened just before 7 p.m. Saturday night on Route 2, near the Maine border.
Authorities say the car crossed over the center line, struck a snow bank and flipped over at least once before landing in a front yard.
No one in the car was wearing a seatbelt. All three were killed. Police say the car had Maine license plates.
Officers say given the ups and downs in temperatures recently, the snow banks have thawed and then frozen until they’re almost as hard as concrete.
