On Route 15 in Bucksport, slushy roads caused a nasty crash.
Police say a 38-year-old man was driving too fast for the conditions. He lost control and struck a car heading in the opposite direction.
It’s believed the 20-year-old woman driving that car suffered a broken leg. She was taken to the hospital.
The impact sent both cars into a third vehicle. There has been no word so far on the driver of that vehicle.
Traffic was backed up for miles while crews cleaned up the scene.
Roads throughout the area are still slick Thursday morning, with a lot of slush and standing water in the road.
