Waterville Woman Sentenced 

Susan LeClair pleaded guilty Wednesday to taking money from the Maine chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. A judge suspended all but 18 months of a six-year sentence. She also must pay restitution and serve nine years probation.

LeClair was in charge of the organization’s booking and finance for eight years. Executive Director Carol Carothers says the embezzlement &quot:wipes out years of hard-won progress.&quot:
