1 lb. unsalted butter, softened
cup powdered sugar
2 Tbsp. brandy
2 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
4 cups all-purpose flour
Powdered sugar for dusting

Preheat oven to 350. Prepare cookie sheets – lightly grease or line with parchment paper. In bowl of mixer beat together butter and sugar until creamy. Add brandy, vanilla and salt: mix well. Gradually add flour to butter mixture until dough is incorporated. Using a small scoop, make balls of dough and place 1&quot: apart on prepared cookie sheets. Bake in preheated oven for 15 – 20 minutes until cookies are slightly golden on edges. Allow cookies to rest for 1 minute. While still warm toss in powdered sugar. Move to cooling racks and allow to cool completely.
