St. Alban’s Town Manager to Step Down

Larry Post made his announcement Monday night at the selectmen’s meeting.

He’s worked out a contract with the town that’ll keep him on the job until the end of June.

Post will have put in 30 years, this May.

nearly two years ago, he was ousted from the job when selectmen voted not to renew his contract, but upset residents then voted out the selectmen, and the new board reinstated post.

Post tells TV5 that the turmoil led to his decision to leave.

There has been no word so far on what he’ll do next.
