Fire Damages Winslow Family Home

The call came in at about 10 pm, alerting authorities that smoke was coming from the home at 383 Clinton Avenue in Winslow.

When fire crews arrived on the scene, the Lopes family home was already engulfed in flames.

The firefighters were able to contain the flames quickly, but we’re told there’s been a substantial amount of smoke damage.

Mister Lopes was away when the fire broke out. His wife Amie, the couple’s three kids, a dog, and a cat all got out of the home safely.

The Red Cross put the family up in a hotel for Tuesday night.

Investigators think the fire started in the eves of the house near the kitchen.
