Swanville Crash Kills Belfast Woman 

State police say 75-year-old Lavaughn Rumney of Belfast drove through a stop sign, and was broadsided by a truck traveling on Route 141.

The force of the crash flipped Rumney’s car on its side and into a ditch.

Rumney died at the scene. Her passenger, 28-year-old Mike Harriman of Belfast was thrown from the car.

He was taken by life flight helicopter to Eastern Maine Medical Center.

The driver of the truck was reportedly uninjured.
