Updated 7 years ago

BANGOR HIGH SCHOOL COULD BE PLAYING HOME FOOTBALL GAMES ON ARTIFICIAL TURF AS SOON AS NEXT SEASON.
PLANS ARE MOVING FORWARD TO MAKING CAMERON STADIUM A MULIT SPORT FACILITY WITH FIELD TURF.
JUST RECENTLY 200 THOUSAND DOLLARS WAS TRANSFERRED
INTO A RESERVE WHICH ALREADY HAD MORE THAN 100 THOUSAND DOLLARS IN IT. WITH SOME ADITIONAL FUNDRAIZING, A NEW FIELD COULD BE BUILT AS SOON AS NEXT SUMMER.
THE PLAN IS FOR BANGOR HIGH TO PLAY FOOTBALL, AS WELL AS SOME SOCCER AND FIELD HOCKEY GAMES AT THE SITE AS WELL AS LACROSSE IF AND WHEN THAT SPORT GETS ADDED.
NEW LIGHTING AS WELL AS A GRANDSTAND WOULD ALSO IMPROVE CAMERON STADIUM TO THE POINT WHERE IT COULD BE A HOST SITE FOR REGIONAL AND STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES.
