Fire in Enfield Leaves Family Homeless

Updated 7 years ago

Fire crews from Lincoln and Howland assisted in putting out the blaze at 26 Dodlin Road Extention late Sunday night.

After dousing the flames initially, the firefighters brought out the thermal imaging cameras to make sure that the fire was extinguished, and the homeowner told firefighters that he’d keep an eye on the situation.

However, two hours later the flames re-ignited, and this time there was no saving the home, which is being called a total loss.

The family was evacuated safely.

Fire crews did not clear the scene until nearly 7:30 Monday morning. There has been no word yet on a cause.
