Authorities in Somerset County continue their search for marijuana.
The Sheriff’s Department has made a number of busts in recent weeks, including at a home in Canaan.
Deputies searched Lauriston Cochran’s home on the Brown’s Corner Road Friday.
They say they found 67-high quality pot plants, some plants that were already processed, scales and other cultivation equipment.
The plants were being grown in two indoor grow rooms—-one of which was booby trapped with electric wires, spikes, razer blades and sharp pieces of metal.
Cochran was arrested and charged with drug trafficking, cultivation of marijuana and reckless conduct.
He may face additional charges once authorities identify some pills that were also seized.
