If you’re looking to do a little leaf-peeping this weekend…you might want to head north.
Forest rangers in northern Maine say they’re starting to see some good color in their part of the state.
The rest of the state, though, still has a ways to go.
Most areas are only seeing low leaf color…about 10 to 30 percent towards peak.
That’s according to the Conservation department’s weekly foliage
report that tracks color conditions around the state.
