Crash in Hudson

State police say that charges will be filed against a man who was involved in a serious crash in Hudson Tuesday afternoon.

The accident happened at around 5:45, on the Old Town Road.

Trooper Larry Anderson says 48-year-old Lionel Dube Jr. was traveling at high speed when he lost control and hit a tree.

When rescue crews arrived on the scene, they found Dube trapped in the vehicle, and had to be pried out.

Dube was taken by Life Flight helicopter to Eastern Maine Medical Center.

He suffered severe chest trauma and other injuries, but he is expected to survive.

Trooper Anderson says Dube will be charged with operating under the influence, and violating the conditions of his release for a prior offense.
