Two kids from Maine, who’ve been the focus of a nationwide search, are expected to be re-united with their father Thursday.
Meanwhile, the mother accused of taking them from their father illegally, says she doesn’t regret the decision.
Brandi Harris of Orrington and her boyfriend, Vincent Hatch are accused of taking Harris’ daughter and son, and bringing them back to Maine.
The suspects appeared in a Bangor courtroom on Wednesday, oon fugitive from justice charges.
The Maine state police arrested them Tuesday night on I-95 near Etna.
8-year old Rae Ann Meyer and 10-year old Cameron Meyer were with the pair.
Harris posted 500 dollars bail Wednesday.
Hatch remains behind bars on a probation violation.
She and Hatch are fighting extradition to Iowa, where they face a felony charge of violating a custodial order.
Harris claims her ex-husband, Jeffrey Meyer is in violation of the custody order.
She says he moved out of state with the kids without proper notice.
