Promise for Domtar Workers 

ICS of Maine a company that manufactures structural insulated panels for new homes will call Baileyville home.

Governor John Baldacci was on hand for the announcement made this morning at a meeting with union leaders and mill officials at Washington County Community College in Calais.

ICS of Maine President Damar Dore says his goal is to hire 60 to 75 employees by September first. The majority of those employees will be current Domtar workers.

ICS of Maine plans to train the new employees for 90 days, so they are ready to go by December first.

ICS of Maine is not the only opportunity available to Domtar employees, construction, bridge and customs jobs are also open in that region.
