Remembering Korea 

BANGOR- It’s the 54th anniversary of the truce signed to end the war in Korea.

Local veterans held a memorial ceremony to remember the conflict often referred to as &quot:the forgotten war.&quot: They laid a wreath and paid tribute to those who gave their lives defending our country more than fifty years ago.

233 mainers died in the Korean war. More than 54,000 were killed all together.
