That’s according to court documents that indicate John Okie has been convicted on charges including criminal trespass, speeding, eluding an officer and assault.
They stem from an incident in August 2005, in which Okie went to the house of a woman and her boyfriend.
He assaulted the boyfriend and then took off in a stolen car, leading police on a high speed chase.
Okie ended up receiving a suspended sentence in that case—requiring him to get mental health treatment.
This time, he’s accused of murdering 19-year old Alexandra Mills last week at her home in Wayne.
Police are also investigating the death of Okie’s father whose body was found Monday night.
A case that’s being treated as a homicide.
