Damage Tour 

The governor’s due to arrive in Bethel at about 11:15 a.m., and will visit the town office before touring some of the damaged areas. He also plans to visit Gilead if time allows.

A violent storm last Wednesday that dumped several inches of rain in western Maine caused landslides, washed out a bridge and damaged a public water supply system.

After the storm, Baldacci declared a state of emergency in Oxford County.
