Aurora Fire Forces Family to Flee

About 50 fire fighters were called to Silsby Hill Road at around 6:30 Saturday night for a report of a building on fire.

They ended up staying on the scene for close to six hours fighting the blaze that was roaring when the first responders arrived.

We’re told that the homeowners, Pat and Judy Monahan, along with their eight children weren’t home at the time.

Crews were called back to the scene at 3 am Sunday, when the fire erupted again.

An investigator from the fire marshal’s office is expected to be on scene Monday.
