Officials say all the teens are from the Tremont/Southwest Harbor area, and were apparently traveling too quickly.

The truck ended up going across the road and into the woods, but not before striking a utility pole causing the truck to roll over. That’s when two of the people inside were thrown from the vehicle.
Officials say excessive speed and the use of alcohol were factors in the crash.
All five teens were rushed to a number of hospitals. Some of their injuries are severe, but they’re expected to survive.
At last report, their names were being withheld until their families were notified.
