Two men have been arrested in connection with a pair of home break-ins in Houlton. Police are still searching for a woman accused of taking part in the crimes.
Joseph Polchies already had two outstanding warrants, and is now facing charges of burglary, robbery, aggravated assault, and theft. His alleged accomplice Joseph Toner is facing the same charges.
Police say that the two men and a woman broke into the home of Keith Suitter on Hillview Avenue Sunday night. Suitter was awaken by the break in and became engaged in a struggle with the intruders. He was hit on the head with a blunt object, and the intruders got away with some cash.
The two men and the woman are believed to be connected to another break in earlier that evening in which prescription drugs were taken from a home on Military Street.
