Real ID 

(AP) – New Hampshire’s House votedJune 7thto send a bill to Governor John Lynch that would bar the state from complying with the federal act that sets standards for state-issued driver’s licenses. Governor Baldacci signed a similar bill into law Thursday.

The New Hampshire bill calls the federal law repugnant to the state and federal constitutions.

Lynch has said he opposes Real ID and would sign a bill banning its implementation.
