Citizens in the town have put up more than 800 flags throughout their community: on almost every telephone pole, and through the cemetary.
The town manager says the flags will set the mood for Monday morning’s parade.
The decorations will also underscore this year’s ":Old Home Days.": Which is planned for the last Saturday in June.
Town manager Dalton Mullis tells us That the flags will stay up through the fourth of July.
By the way, more than 200 units are expected at this year’s Independence Day Parade in Corinna.
